Stepping out from the norm of being plain and simple, Tuneeca brings to you a whole new adventure for your wardrobe collection. I was impressed with the whole design of the brand line. It is suitable to be worn for casual, office and special occasion. The pricing is also interesting i.e. affordable for medium income person like me ;), hoping that this brand would not rise it price in the near future coz I am just about to be a collector of their design :)

It’s not always rainbow and butterflies, its compromise that keep us along…
Well part of the songs from Marroon5, which lingers in my heart while googling image on rainbow colors of pretty things. Why Rainbow? I’m just in the mood of being happy and rainbow can be the colors of my life right now :)

Nothing much should I say. Just that:

Rainbow is such a beautiful phenomenon created by God.

Accessories - Bib is the word

Meanings of the word ‘bib’ according to the Google result are;

1. A piece of cloth or plastic fastened around a person's neck to keep their clothes clean while eating - ( ohh my baby boy)

2. The part above the waist of the front of an apron or pair of overalls

3. A loose-fitting, sleeveless garment worn for identification, esp. by competitors and officials at sporting events

4. A patch of color on the throat of a bird or other animal
 - a black bird with a white bib ( i swear I've seen a cat with a white bib too)

For me I’m very familiar with the 1st meaning especially when it comes to my baby boy whose appetite is growing ( semua benda dia nak masuk mulut) and most of the time he will create a lot of mess each time he join us to dine. A bib for him is a must; sometimes this lazy mum of him will just grab any cloth around to be the substituted of the proper bib.(sungguh x proper)

Anyway, I’m here to blog not about my little boy nor that piece of cloth called bib. But I’m here with something more interesting to share. Something that relates to the word bib, but in a more beautiful manner and meaning i.e BIB NECKLACE.

While most fashionista or accessories lover is already into the word BIB NECKLACE, me as usual on the other part of the world don’t even know the word exist. ( to me semua rantai tu nama rantai or necklace la, siap in my own word I called it rantai melekap..ahaks).

So now I’ve heard this bib necklace come into trend somewhere in 2009 (but I think I saw the vintage one from 19 centuries too) and like most accessories it has the upward and downward trend which is not really important because somehow for me fashion is just wearing what suits you and comfortable to you that meets the right moment and occasion. Lately I kind of love to wear the turtle neck collared shirt with matching scarf tie behind the neck. So looking at the bear area of the neck makes me wonder what accessories could be place there and add the more stylish look with neat and grippy smart kinda of look. So that how the search for the bib necklace come out ( Ya ampun ,panjangnya jalan cerita…hehe) and that’s how I learnt a new word. ( clap for myself)

Ok back to the bib necklace, there are few that catch my eyes from lace, rhinestones, beads, crochets, and buttons type. Ouww all looks alluring to me. So here are some that catch my heart and melt it away. Enjoy!

Designer Ipad Case

The most widely accepted gadget at the moment is obviously the I pad. Steve Job is just awesome! Not just offering jobs for the technology related industry but also to all the designers that create the WANT for those rich and famous and for those who can afford to drape everything they possess into branded piece, following their own style and personality.

In this case yes even their Ipad. While my own Ipad is lying somewhere in the house ( bawah meja, bawah kerusi or atas sofa uncovered , with some mark of my baby boy saliva or a layer thin coat of my dinner mark ) some people in the different side of My Word is actually draping this piece of gadgets with designer case. Eh…lucky them or me? Apapun for someone like me who just love to see pretty things, these eye catching cases is just gorgeous. Will get one when I have enough money yeah :) I want this beauty below = awesome!

Laundry Room Idaman aka Dream

Looking at the title of the entry, some of you might go like ‘’What, of all the things to dream? A laundry room? “ Is that what you really need? But yes, looking at my house condition now, having a well organized laundry room can do much help. Especially this eye sore problem each time looking at the unfold cloth, pile of used cloth, basket full of waiting to iron cloth, baby cloth diaper and much more in the list. (Having a small child is not an excuse to all this mess..ouch)

My house is small so having a small laundry room will do a lot of savior to me. How I wish I could have one of this room. Then I could wash, fold and iron in it. Put some of the item especially my comforter sets, towels , my collection of telekung and some unused cloth in it.

Plus don't you think the room looks so cozy and nice. I might even sip a cup of coffee and indulge in one good book while in it? Ha…isn’t life is just great when everything is neat? 

So when I’m not adhering myself to my beloved newborn, I make myself busy with my countless interest ... and baking is one of them. Nothing can be more interesting than baking your personal favourite flavour to satisfy the constant demand of my own craving. So in search of the best and easiest recipe to be baked at the moment, I decided to give it a try on the red velvet cupcakes. Pick and choose from few recipes here goes the recipe that I choose to bake : -

::Ingredients ::

Cake ::
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs ( room temperature)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 (1 ounce) bottle Red Food Color
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

Frosting ::
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 (16 ounce) box confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside.
Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in sour cream, milk, food colour and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until just blended. Do not overbeat. Spoon batter into 30 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cupcake comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely. Frost with Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting.

Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat cream cheese, softened, butter, sour cream and Vanilla Extract in large bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth.

The results is pretty amazing for an amateur like me, and that night while my baby boy is sleeping safe and sound in near supervision, my husband and I enjoy our minute space in this velvety affairs : )

Muslim Bridal Wear - Irna La Perle

I fall in love...for how many times that I lost count to it...but who's not especially when your eyes just drop to be looking at this beautiful super gorgeous gown..the hit word was muslim bridal gown and Irna la Perle name's came appear to my desktop screen and yes...I love it, I'm sure you readers too...

At the moment they have 2 boutiques located in Jakarta and Bandung, aduh bertuah bangat bagi yg punyai wang dan duduk hampir sekitar sana yah! But we Malaysian can be considered quite near to get to them looking at their distance as compared to London, Paris or Milan. Betulkan?

No quite sure about the price but I bet it will cost a fortune for someone like me, alangkan nak upah ArmaCouture buat kurung moden pun fikir 1000x...yeah I'm not that lucky to pin point at everything and terus menjadi..but I'm a god damn good admirer of beauty related things : )

Apple Cinnamon Quiche

Another try and taste experiments from me. Rupanya tidak begitu menarik but the taste is quite great.

Perhaps next time, I’ve to really be extra gentle with the dough placement in the baking tray, but for now here’s the recipe : )

Ingredients for Crust
:: White Flour
:: Pinch of Salt
:: Butter
:: Sugar
Mixed well all the ingredient using your clean finger and once you feel the ingredient is sticky enough to be shape in the baking tray you are done. Shape it well in the baking tray and place in the oven at 180 degree until its colour change to golden brown and have a slight crispy structure. Take it out and cool it down for a while.

Ingredient for filling and toppings

:: Apple ( cut into small cube)
:: Cinnamon ( powder based)
:: Brown Sugar
Cooked well the ingredient until it turn out sticky and creamy like texture. Using a spoon, place the well cooked ingredient into the crust. Sprinkle some chocolate chips to make it more appealing.

Baked in the oven again for 15 minutes just to ensure the chocolate chips dissolved a little bit into the apple cinnamon flavored filling.

It’s a Friendship Dinner

An Old saying “ friendship is like flower, need to be taken care and nourish to keep it blooming and beautiful..”. My saying…Old friend need to be rekindled, updating each other moments of what’s up and what’s down, sharing more than just juicy gossip, pad each other shoulder after a long time of not being able to do so, smile and cry for reasons that we share to embrace a whole new chapter about life…yes I’ve always believe in friendship, my fren is a mirror to myself, when I criticized them its like criticizing my own self, when I praised them its always part of my pride, I dun share everything but enough to know that we will always have each other when we turn around…

Last weekend, it’s a get together of an old friend at my place, friendship that started with a simple “Hi” is now marking a significant part in my life. Everyone has grown into somewhat a remarkable lady, polish more than ever, mature in every manner, but the same old jokes and smile keeps it livelier that ever….

Ladies, I’m glad you are still around ….thanks for sharing and listening ; )

Mysury Tips :

1 – It’s a western dish, so I kinds of get excited to set up the whole dining area with everything I have – Guna apa aja yg ada. This is the day, you have to avoid being bermalas-malasan. ( Sekali-sekala takpe kan if kena basuh pinggan mangkuk yg banyak ;p)

2- I dun have complete dinner set, but try to mix and match with colour combination and practicality of the thing. Glass material suits almost with all other material (porcelain, crystal, melamine etc)

3- Create that ambience of friendliness and comfort among the guest. If we prepare the best we can,I’m sure your guest can sense the sincere hospitality inside us.

4- We did pot luck, so the burden of preparing the whole thing does not rely to only one person. Variety is important, and yes you can always tell your guest the kind of food you prefer them to bring ( Ala yg ni korang discuss la dlm facebook, dlm email or sms)

5 – Being me, everthing kena very matchy2( if possible la ) …so its really up to you, just be who you are and stop doing something you can’t be or dun like : )

Stir Broccoli & Mushroom in Brown Sauce.

Being a Broccoli lover, broccoli’s becomes a frequent dish in most of my meal especially when I cooked.
I never get bored of its taste, its just the best green veggie that really suits my taste bud : )
Last weekend, I tried being creative with this recipes and it turn out yummy, so I would like to share with you readers this humble recipe of mines. Enjoy!

Ingredients
1. {Fresh selection of Broccoli
2. {Mushroom (any type of mushroom will do)
3. {Chopped Garlic
4. {Brown Sauce – Mysury choice : Knorr Brand,which you can easily get from TESCO or GIANT.
5. {Half teaspoon of Granulated chicken stock - Mysury choice - Ayam Brand
6. {Salt
7. {Water

Directions
Cut and clean the broccoli according to your usual bite size Heat up oil and stir fry the garlic until it turn to golden brown Put in your mushroom and broccoli Add in some water & granulated chicken stock Take 3 table spoon of Brown sauce and mixed well with warm water before adding it to your veggie Add in some salt and let it simmer for a minute or 2. Your broccoli is ready to be served.

Isn’t it just cute? If only every time we cook we can have an selection of apron to wear, cooking will be more interesting. I am pretty sure, Mr Husband will get distracted also as the wife is being all charming even while cooking in the kitchen. The last expected place for a woman to look pretty. Hehe.

But with this adorable apron I’m sure we can, they even have something hot for those who are more daring. Who knows they will join you in the kitchen to help as well…help with the dishes of coz wink *wink!

P.S: Mine was a present from my mum, a sweet pastel floral design apron which I love it to bits.

My Chandelier Moments

Hi readers,

Ever since I start hunting for the perfect dining lighting for my house, chandelier with shades has always been the number 1 choice. Luckily my husband shares the same liking with me, so hunting for it has always been a fun activity to share. We want something simple, something pastel, something practical and something that can really suits the dining table and the green concept of our dining area I want all that we want but additional thing I want is dangling crystal drooping around it too…shhh….

Our hunting start from Jalan Pudu, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Ampang, Kota Damansara and when we finally found the one that suits the desire and meet the budget : ) , it was in Uptown, PJ. Sorry reader I can’t remember the shop but if you go to uptown area, there is this one row of shops whish cater all sort of lighting and the shop that I choose to buy is kinda of smaller compare to others.

The best part is that this shop can customized the shades by material and colour. In fact when I bought my chandelier it did not come in shades, just the bulb resembling the candle design (it’s nice also without shades but I still want shades..hehe, oh ya the crystal substitutes was a glass, ahh dat will do ..hehe), so the seller make my day when he said ‘ dun worry, if u like the chandelier we can always put the shades on top with just a little extra charge’ so we agreed and a few days later here it is our chandelier , hanging majestically in our humble dining : )

Thank God, with his blessing and willing I've able to complete my first biggest job of this year.

My Client who appear to have the same middle name with me contacted me sumwhere in Jan 09, to plan for her wedding ceremony on the 4th July 2009. So sumwhere in Feb 09, we met at my place and start to discuss for about 3 hours on the list of thing that she wants, colour and theme, material and price.

Little that I know, this job comes with very high responsibility and pressure , yet alhamdullilah everything went well although there are few hiccups along the way. At the end of the day, the happy and smilling client leave me with great relieved and satisfaction.

"there's always a first time in everything" - this is an experienced than I will value for a very-very long time

Went to Amcorp Mall this afternoon for lunch ( One of my fav. place to hang out, not just becoz my parents is selling at their flea market, but becoz of the uniqueness of the place, varied item which is not typical with other place can be obtained at a very reasonable price, easy parking and good choice of food) a'way, I spotted a stall which is selling decorated chocolate and I must say I'm impress with the whole idea of decorated chocolate, sumthing like the colourful cupcakes only now the based is chocolate. So I stop by at their place, ask a few question and bought one coz i just cud't resist the design and of coz to taste it : )

:: Its DIY, all you need is stack of flower, ribbon, beads or other matching details and foam or polystyrene ball. Insert ribbon in the middle of the base, stick up the flower to the base ( make sure you cut the flower stem according to the length that you want) , mix and match your creative touch and there you go, ready to swing your ball.

:: If you buy this in any floral shop or gift shop the price is quite expensive merely becoz the quality and type of flower being used, high quality flower and matching details like crystal tassel, pearl beads, silk ribbon and etc will definitely contribute to higher cost, plus theirs skills and workmanship need to be paid too.

:: Pomander bouquet is usually spotted in wedding ceremony, carried by the flower girl or dayang2 ( the malay term) to create that romantic and warm atmosphere. It can also be used as decoration item for your bedroom, bathroom (with scented flower), hallway or even staircase. I place it down my classic wall clock : )

It’s mine! It’s mine…finally I found it. I’ve been searching all over the place for the classics look kerongsang or dokoh. Ramadhan this year, I’ve actually set an eye for one, which is selling at one of the stalls in the Curve, Ramadhan Bazzar, but its way too expensive for me. So I had to close the desire to own it till recently I start my hunt again as I’ll be wearing a soft baby blue lace trim kebaya lining with gold colour satin. It’s sweet but I need more that just a sweet look, I want it to look sweet yet with a bold character into it and this is were the dokoh or kerongsang will play its part.

So for the past few weeks, I’ve start looking through hopping from one shop to the other, or from stalls to stalls and always ended up not buying as it’s too gaudy, too small, too many stones or to bla bla bla…nothing like the perfect classic look that I’ve imagined. Till yesterday, while browsing online and image googling with the word kerongsang & dokoh klasik, Paulini Collection’s name pop up and yes this is it...My search has come to an end. At an instance I feel in love with almost all of their collection. And yes the very same nite, I purchased my 1st Paulini Collection and trust me, there will be more!! I’ve not been blogging for quite sumtimes..

I’ve been rather busy with the Eid Fitri preparation and before that was Ramadhan where I guess I lost my energy to writing especially during the day…while nite time during Ramadhan has always been my personal time with dearest hubby, family, fren or just about myself…

So last Saturday is more of a family and selected fren get together in conjunction with the Eid Fitri celebration plus…to kill 2 bird with 1 stone it is also sum sort of like a house warming treat to all my family members who has been asking when are we going to have one : )

I just hope that everyone who attended the event had a big smile and happy tummy leaving my house : )

I know we can't be pleasing everyone as human err is to critics and comments or pass remark with only God knows whether for the good or bad intentions at the back of their mind… I take it with good heart coz as long as they do the talking there is no communication breakdown in between : )

A’way, I never knew that I could baked…though I have always admire those who can…sumday I told myself that I will baked e’thing that I lurve to see and eat that need the oven to work it out..by this I’m talking about cakes, pastry and all the sweet sugary food that melt by heart away…

Muffin has not really been my favorites but I thot of starting with sumthing simple..yeah the basic baking rules..like checking on the oven, inserting a toothpick to check whether its ready or not, beating the ingredients to right combinations..yeah those simple do’s and don’t that I still need to learnt a lot…

Has always been in love with this Ashdene collection ( long before I have my own house to decorate n long before I earn my own living..ahaks!), of coz being single and young at that time, I’ve always dream to be a collector of this product someday.

Today, I guess my dream come true and I’m a happy owner of the Missy 3 tier cake stand with the proud marking of fine bone china ( I do have a plan in mind to rent this thing out though : )) Considering the price is a bit expensive (their tag “where quality matter”), one must think of way to get sumthing out of sumthing certainly : )

Tea Pot Deli Café

The place is called as Tea Pot Deli Café, simply called teapot because the moment you step into the café, you can see many small teapot was placed around the end corner, wall hanging space with a bundle collection of teapot with different sizes, colors and design, yup this also remind Mysury to the Teapot café in PJ, only that this place is decorated pretty much lighter that the one in PJ.

Location: SACC Mall Shah Alam, Level 2, somewhere near or above the foyer / entrance of the mall itself.

Ambience rating: I’m giving them 4 stars, coz I fell I luv with the cozy environment, sweet and pretty design of wall picture, deco and such with lovely colors.

Food rating: Also I’m giving them 4 stars, simply becoz the taste worth the price and the ambience.

Suitable for : The perfect spot to hang out with friends/ family ( tired of the kopitiam moments ;)), those who love western cuisine, tea time chatting or a small occasion / function – suits for up to 10 person gathering.

Mysury was again hired as the hantaran set coordinator, this time around the customer is her very own best friends that she had known since she was 7 years old, being in the same school, same tuition centre and almost the same housing area their friendship bloom genuinely till now. They have the same kind of taste for what they called as beautiful perfect thingy. Well even the bedroom set was purchased at the same place : ), hence letting Mysury to do the hantaran arrangement for the guys side is an easy decision for her .

In this entry, Mysury would like to share her buying journey of more an impulse purchase when she bought this 3 multi purpose basket with 3 different sizes from one of her favourite shop i.e. the Lovely Lace.

During the last Mother Day promotion, you can purchase this beautiful basket only at RM 99 with a purchase of RM 40 and above. The original price is RM 310, which is a saving of almost RM 170, yup taking into consideration that RM 40 that she had to pay. A very good deal indeed! Plus it is beautifully intricate with floral motive and it’s come in pink colour. A colour that really suits the female’s world : )

Well, you can also get this basket with plain brown colour, without the embroidered flower motif and only 1 basket at many places such MACY, Living Quarters and even some flea market with price ranging from RM 70 to RM 120. It’s no ordinary plates or napkins because this website offer plates and napkins that can match or suits almost all personal occasion from Birthday, Weddings, Seasonal Celebration and etc.
What is even better is that you can shops by colors, by product, or by theme. They even have a blog at http://giftaria.wordpress.com which they claims as an online group of specialty e-commerce stores created to bring hard to find, unique, and high quality product to consumers worldwide. Mysury totally agree with the hard to find and unique claims.

Here in Malaysia, Mysury is quite sure to say that as at today’s date we still do not have this kind of shops / or online shops that offer this kind of stuff, it would be really great if we can have it here rite. Mysury when to catch a movie last nite at One Utama, while waiting for the show, she hops into Living Quarters, sets her eyes on this lovely tea rose mug and just could not say no to it. It's so adorable and lovely with a choice of pink or white rose. A pair in a box for RM 39.90 or close to RM 20 each. She bought 2 boxes with both pink and white roses.

It’s been somewhat a tiring day for Mysury , but a tiredness accompanied by the abundant of joy makes a person feel good about it. Mysury is very much grateful to life and God especially for all 28 years of her life she has never once felt that her close family ever ignored or abandoned her. Though she’s married and has a busy life of her own, close family always remain in the circle of her life.

Always being the sweet niece to every uncle and aunty, they would just care for her just like she a small kid, still getting hug and kisses, phone calls, dinner/lunch treat, still receive small gift during birthday or after their visit from holiday, all this remind her that all of them care about her just as much as she did. Yes, she thank God for that and for the rest of their life, Mysury pray that they will have a pleasant years ahead of them...cause for a moment yesterday, when she look at their faces, a feeling of scared loosing them to death that can never be avoided just make a sharp pain in her stomach, though we cannot escape it, but at last … we hope we may have a peaceful end. God willing…Amen

Anyway, yesterday, some of her aunt and uncle, also her parents, sisters and cousins paid a visit to her house, the house that has always been occupied by only 2 persons was welcoming and extra 15 guests. Their visits was rather a short notice, as they decided to take a peep at their niece new home, …so from the restaurant where they had a small gathering during lunch hour, they decided to extend the gathering to a tea get-together at Mysury very own house “ CHINTA MYSURY”. She’s happy but a bit nervous as thinking what would they say about her house from the choice of location , to size of the house and the interior deco and yes, what would she served them once they get there. Everything was just unplanned. The entire questions come to and end when her aunts and uncle smile proudly (the moment they entered her house) to her and praise, young women you have decorated this house finely, it’s very lovely and neatly arrange. After this, when want to take a break at our own house chores, we will definitely come here : ) . That’s a very sweet comment to Mysury.

So in this entry Mysury would like to share some tips to the readers when you have an unexpected guest to your house especially those who you always want to show a good example to them as a good host.

Quick Tips:

Always, and always expect that you will get a guest to drop by at your house especially when any gathering / meeting place took place near to your house (Msyury place and the gathering place was only 15 KM away)
Always have something ready to serve to the guest. (Luckily she had chocolate cakes and donuts), you can keep some frozen foods like nuggets, curry puff or frozen popiah, perhaps some bread and tuna/ sardine for a quick fix sandwich.
Prepare some hot drinks – coffee and tea so that your guest may have some choice to drinks. ( Mysury served a black coffee and flavored peach tea)
Ask them whether they need use the washroom, or the guest room to refresh themselves or for the Muslims guest who might want to perform their Solah, you can place a complete set of telekung, kain pelekat, and the prayer mat ready in the guest room (Mysury trick is to complete the guest room with a complete set of toiletries like a accessories kit, dental kit, lotion, body wash, shampoo and etc– some of this item comes in miniature size from the her hotel personal collection. It’s free, nice and handy!)
At the living area, switch on some music to create a positive mood but keep the volume low just as background music. Also switch on the aircond/ fan to have a breezy air around, place some magazines / light reading material, albums of your own or family or have some group games items . (JENGA, cards, PS 2 set – this really help to make the small kids stay focus, and etc)
Talk to all of them no matter how occupied you are with arranging / preparing things. Listen to their comments or feedback regarding your house with a smile or note of thanks.

Mysury is so excited when she gets to know that JC PENNY is now available in Malaysia. At least that was what she thought when she saw the banner of JC PENNY.com.my via Maybank2u website.

For your info, JC PENNY is one of the most leading American brands that support online ordering as well as physical store located widely in US.

Product ranging from women, lingerie, juniors, SEPHORA, jewelry, shoes, men, kids and baby, bedding, bath, window, furniture, home décor, houseware, gift and etc.

For the Malaysian market, the choice is a bit smaller (yup, no furniture available). If you happen to browse their online catalogue you will definitely fall in love with their design.

So she browsed and browsed happily and almost (yes almost a click away to purchase this completer set) when the final page shows the price of RM 245. What? Weekend has always been the most looking forward day of the week as weekend is the time Mysury could spent her precious hours with closest ties, friends and of coz the beloved husband.

Last weekend, Mysury paid a visit to SSF Home Deco in Bandar Sri Damansara (accompanied by beloved husband and a close friends) while eyeing around, she stumbled upon to one corner and her eyes was mesmerised with this beautiful sight of the corner. She just could not move, feel like taking e'thing there and bring back home and arranged everything back just like it was : )
Everything was arranged in the mixture of pastel/soft blue and white, the furniture is pastel blue decorated with white flower / deco, everything is just so well decorated and place at the right place and the sight is just too beautiful to let go, so Mysury capture that particular moment and here it is. A bit blurry as it was captured via phone camera and dim light around the area is not helping that much either, but at a woman must do what she has to do and that will be to “capture moments to last” at least.

P/s : SSF is a great place to look for fresh ideas since the furniture or similar to it, is not readily available in common furniture places. Though its a bit expensive to some people like Mysury but the price reflect the good quality and design especially this lovely dovely bluely set ..!!

A Daisy Story

Mysury has been exposed to the world of flower ever since she was born into this delightful world, mainly because she’s has been taken care by her beloved grandmother during daytime who happen to be a very fond lover of flower and during those day, watching the grand lady nurturing those flower in her beautiful garden is the most tranquil feeling she could have –

Orchid, Jasmine , Gerberas, Roses, Morning Glory, Bougainvillea, Lilies, Cactus, and so much more that she could not recall all its name. Those were the days...Now going down the memory lane, Mysury is interested to share her favorites all time flower, if her grand lady is a lady of Jasmine, Mysury choice would be Carla Lily and Daisies, similarity of both is that it’s normally come in white, both represent strength and strong will power as it can last longer in the water once being plucked from it stems.

The character of both flower amazed her :-

*Carla Lily, a simple flower yet very elegant in manner it is being arranged, always the main focus of any arrangement and it just spoke for itself, a statement of its own.

*Daisy, a sweet looking flower that’s always a charm to anyone looking, looking pure and untouched with its white petals that overlap each other simply show that it’s a friendly flower and just fun to be with.

This week we are going to share some fact about Little Daisy this favourite flower of Mysury.

Mysury has always belief that God created everything with reasons, reasons that sometimes we realized at the instance of our clear state of mind or sometimes reason that we somehow overlook and only realized when it happen to us.

Colors for Mysury are the most beautiful element created by God, it fills this world with wonders and beauty, remarkable sight is existed with mixtures of beautiful colors. This week topic that excites Mysury is about colors, and she’s more into green and white (her essential choice).

In her journey to create her own style of living, Mysury has personally choose green and white in her living and dining area, simply because for Mysury green is the most soothing decorating color, combining it with white the symbol of purity can create a very positive atmosphere in her home. Coincidentally, through her reading, green is always associated with money, luck, financial success and prosperity, fertility, good crops and harvest, cooperation. Well looks like Mysury has choose the right choice for her home :)

Mysury is very much into home deco, her favorites choice is mostly the touch of an English deco. Ideas from Ikea, SSF Home Deco, Janine, Lovely Lace, Laura Ashley, JC Penny, Macy’s, Biggie Best and Pottery Barn are her main guru’s for now. (Second choice is the colonial concept, Insyallah her next home in 00 years time : )

White furniture and home deco from rustic to shabby chic to gloss finishing will be her main material to be played with, with pastel combination, those soft background will be bring to life. This week, Mysury topic on house living is concerning the entryway, and benches will be the main focused.

Since moving to her new home few months back, many ideas and resources has been allocated to other important part of the house aka the living room, dining, bedroom and kitchen. Now so much for the moments areas like the entryway is being push a side for a while till time and resources will not be a strict constraint, and now Mysury is thinking of decorating the entryway of her house and with the concept of having benches to be placed near the staircase area, she start searching for everything about benches…

This idea of benches is not synonym with the Malaysian concept of living, but to Mysury observation those shelf is available from IKEA and MACY – price range within RM 300 – RM 500. But those benches is a bit difficult to find, perhaps Mysury will have to opt for other thing, maybe a chest drawer or big treasure box covered with soft rug on top or maybe a sofa covered material storage box available at MACY at RM 150 each.

Or maybe, Mysury can customed made the benches from Mr Capenter : )
